Award Categories

Please submit your nominations for awards given each year at the conference. Nominations can be submitted on the Award Nominations tab.

Nomination Categories:

Line Staff Worker of the Year: This award will be presented to a child support worker (public or private) with at least three years experience who works in the front lines of child support. This individual should demonstrate dedication to child support beyond the call of duty. A successful nomination would illustrate specifically how this individual has had an effect in improving child support services.

Clerk of the Year: This award will be presented to a Clerk of Superior Court or an employee of a Clerk of Superior Court with at least three years experience whose duties include some aspect of child support. This individual should demonstrate dedication to child support beyond the call of duty. A successful nomination would illustrate specifically how this individual has had an effect in improving the provision of child support services to the non IV-D child support population or how this individual has improved relationships with other child support offices or agencies.

Judicial Officer of the Year: This award will be presented to a judge or commissioner with at least three years experience with child support cases who has had a significant impact on the child support cases before him or her. A successful nomination would illustrate what innovative or unique methods the judge/hearing officer employs to efficiently and fairly adjudicate child support cases.

Attorney of the Year: This award will be presented to an attorney that has a significant impact in family law. This individual should demonstrate dedication to family law cases beyond the call of duty. Encourage education, outreach and furtherance of the legal profession.

President’s Award: This award will be presented to an individual chosen by the President of the Arizona Family Support Council who has made significant contributions in the field of family law. Nominations will be accepted for this award, but the President of the Arizona Family Support Council may select the recipient without a formal nomination.
